Internal course on deployment
In September we attended a one-day course on the deployment system applied by the G.P.S.E. Karlos Garitaonandia, G.P.S.E. responsible for training, explained different ways of mobilisation and the protocol for acting established in each case.
Course on collapsed structures
On May 3rd and 4th we attended a training session on collapsed structures at the Zubillaga fire station. The course was given by Hipólito Poza and Enrique Uriarte.
Course on First Aid for Dogs
On April 1st 2010, Larraitz Sorrón, veterinary and member of the G.P.S.E., gave a course on “basic canine care” at the premises of the G.P.S.E. in Elorrio.
Training with Patrice Foucault
Patrice Foucault gave a training session during the week-end July 11th-12th. Patrice Foucaut is an acknowledged personality in Ring and Mondioring contexts and has been Ring champion of France with his dog Top Gun several times.
XI International Rescue Dog Symposium
Two members of the Group attended the Symposium in Salzburg from 26th to 29th April.
Orienteering Course
On February 10th Javier Corchero gave us a training course on orienteering. The aim of this course was to maintain knowledge acquired formerly as to cartographic systems and the use of compass and map.
III Technical Session for Civil Defence Volunteers
This session took place in Colindres (Cantabria) on January 20th. Karlos Garitaonandia presented the communication “The rescue dog in the search of missing persons”.
Course with Mr. Agremon from France
From September 30th to October 1st members of the G.P.S.E. attended the course given in Elorrio by this trainer in the dog sport domain and several times ring champion of France.
Course on High Mountain Safety
During the week-end of April 16th and 17th we attended the course on High Mountain Safety organised by the Escuela Guipuzcoana de Alta Montaña in Lizara (Huesca).
First Aid Course
On December 18th we participated in a course on first aid given by DYA Gipuzkoa, on our premises in Elorrio (Bizkaia).
