On April 6 to 8, members of the Basque Rescue Dog Group attended the International Symposium which took place in Fontainebleau, France. On April 9, they also participated in the IRO Meeting celebrated in the same place. (more…)
During the week-end April 1 to 3, 7 teams from 3 Canadian groups of CASDDA, (Canadian Search & Disaster Dogs Association) visited Elorrio in order to get to know us, exchange experiences and to strengthen our relationship. We had the choice to work with Silvie, Trish, Karen, Charlaine, Jame, Val, Richard and their respective dogs. (more…)
On March 25, 26 and 27, two members of the Basque Rescue Dog Group participated as observers in the IRO course on collapsed structures for persons responsible for training within the ANGPS. (more…)
During the last week-end of October, Raimon Gabarró, technical director of Canisapiens taught us how to improve procedures when training our dogs,in a course on obedience according to the cognitive-emotional system. (more…)
In September we attended a one-day course on the deployment system applied by the G.P.S.E. Karlos Garitaonandia, G.P.S.E. responsible for training, explained different ways of mobilisation and the protocol for acting established in each case.
On May 3rd and 4th we attended a training session on collapsed structures at the Zubillaga fire station. The course was given by Hipólito Poza and Enrique Uriarte.
On April 1st 2010, Larraitz Sorrón, veterinary and member of the G.P.S.E., gave a course on “basic canine care” at the premises of the G.P.S.E. in Elorrio.
Patrice Foucault gave a training session during the week-end July 11th-12th. Patrice Foucaut is an acknowledged personality in Ring and Mondioring contexts and has been Ring champion of France with his dog Top Gun several times.
Two members of the Group attended the Symposium in Salzburg from 26th to 29th April.
On February 10th Javier Corchero gave us a training course on orienteering. The aim of this course was to maintain knowledge acquired formerly as to cartographic systems and the use of compass and map.
